different products and levels of assembly.
AR-15 Upper
An assembled upper containing the receiver,
barrel, handguard, gas system and related

Upper Assembly / Barreled Upper
An upper with its major components installed.
These terms do not automatically mean that a
bolt carrier group or charging handle is included.

Complete Upper
An assembled upper that includes both a

the term complete upper for configurations

Upper Receiver
The standalone receiver component without
