Tip of 7.62 x 39 firing pin is machined .015 longer (Enhanced) for Wolf ammunition and others with notoriously hard primers. This firing pin is new manufacture, not re-machined. You can install this firing pin in your AR-15/5.56 Upper with no problems, it will not pierce the primer. Swiss Type CNC machined from 4140 Steel, Hard Chrome Finish, Hardened to 44-45 Rc to maximize the life of the firing pin.
