Upper Receiver:
AR-15 Mil-Spec forged aluminum upper receiver with forward assist and dust cover assembly installed. Forged from durable 7075-T6 aluminum and protected with a matte black MIL-A-8625 Type III, Class 2 hard coat anodized finish. The stronger 7075-T6 construction offers increased durability compared to commonly used 6061 billet aluminum receivers.
Barrel:
Shaw Match Grade 16" 350 Legend barrel manufactured from premium 416R stainless steel with an HBAR profile, 1:16 twist rate, and 1/2x28 muzzle threads. Features a standard AR-15 Big Bore barrel extension with a single feed ramp and is professionally headspaced using Manson GO and NO-GO gauges. The 350 Legend chamber delivers outstanding accuracy and dependable performance with popular 150 to 170 grain hunting ammunition while providing excellent terminal performance with manageable recoil.
Handguard:
Premium lightweight 15" extended rifle-length AR-15 free-float M-LOK handguard. M-LOK attachment slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions provide ample room for mounting optics, bipods, lights, slings, grips, and other M-LOK compatible accessories. Precision machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with a matte black MIL-A-8625 Type III, Class 2 hard coat anodized coating.
Gas System:
Carbine-length gas system paired with a .750" low-profile gas block for dependable cycling and consistent operation across a wide variety of factory 350 Legend ammunition.
Muzzle Device:
A2 flash hider installed on 1/2x28 muzzle threads to reduce visible muzzle flash while protecting the muzzle threads during use.
IMPORTANT – 350 LEGEND MUZZLE DEVICE INFORMATION
This upper uses 1/2x28 muzzle threads. The included A2 flash hider has been properly bored to safely accommodate the .357" diameter projectile used by 350 Legend ammunition. If replacing the muzzle device, verify that the replacement is specifically designed or properly bored for 350 Legend. Not every 1/2x28 muzzle device provides sufficient internal clearance for .357 caliber bullets.
