Upper Receiver:
AR-15 Mil-Spec forged aluminum upper receiver with forward assist and dust cover assembly installed. Forged from durable 7075-T6 aluminum and protected with a matte black MIL-A-8625 Type III, Class 2 hard coat anodized finish. The stronger 7075-T6 construction provides greater strength and durability than commonly used 6061 billet aluminum receivers.
Barrel:
Shaw Match Grade 16" 350 Legend barrel manufactured from premium 416R stainless steel with an HBAR profile, polished stainless finish, 1:16 twist rate, and 9/16x24 muzzle threads. Features a standard AR-15 Big Bore barrel extension with a single feed ramp and is professionally headspaced using Manson GO and NO-GO gauges. The 16-inch barrel delivers excellent accuracy, dependable reliability, and outstanding terminal performance with popular 150 to 170 grain 350 Legend hunting ammunition.
Handguard:
Premium lightweight 15" extended rifle-length AR-15 free-float M-LOK handguard. M-LOK attachment slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions provide generous room for mounting optics, bipods, lights, slings, grips, and other M-LOK compatible accessories. Precision machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with a matte black MIL-A-8625 Type III, Class 2 hard coat anodized coating.
Gas System:
Carbine-length gas system paired with a .750" low-profile gas block for dependable cycling and reliable operation across a broad range of factory 350 Legend ammunition.
Muzzle Device:
The Kaw Valley Precision Linear Compensator is installed on the barrel's 9/16x24 muzzle threads. Rather than directing blast to the sides, the linear compensator projects muzzle blast and concussion forward, creating a more comfortable shooting experience for the shooter and those nearby while helping protect the muzzle threads.
IMPORTANT – 350 LEGEND MUZZLE DEVICE INFORMATION
This upper uses 9/16x24 muzzle threads. If replacing the included Kaw Valley Precision Linear Compensator, verify that any replacement muzzle device is specifically designed or properly bored for the .357" diameter projectile used by 350 Legend ammunition. Not every 9/16x24 muzzle device provides sufficient internal clearance for .357 caliber bullets.
